Since the beginning of 2018/19 MY (July 1), and as of February 20, the general grain exports from Ukraine totaled 31.3 mln tonnes, an increase of 5.5 mln tonnes compared with the same period last season, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
In particular, Ukraine exported 12.2 mln tonnes of wheat, down 0.3 mln tonnes compared with the last year figures. Also, the supplies of barley declined to 3.3 mln tonnes, down 0.7 mln tonnes, and rye — 87.4 thsd tonnes, up 70.6 thsd tonnes. At the same time, the exports of corn continued growing: the shipments exceeded 15.1 mln tonnes, up 6.1 mln tonnes compared with the same period of the season-2017/18.
In addition, the exports of Ukrainian flour totaled 163.2 thsd tonnes only.
